Capacity Building for Integrated Flood Management

The Flood Management Policy Series papers are primarily aimed at flood managers, their purpose being to enable them to understand the full range of issues involved in flood management. The introduction of these papers in form of Power Point Presentations is considered as an entrance point to induce a multi-disciplinary approach to flood management. The slide presentation materials for Legal and Institutional Aspects of Integrated Flood Management (IFM), Social Aspects and Stakeholder Involvement in IFM, Environmental Aspects of IFM, and Economic Aspects of IFM had been developed and are now available on-line below as a self-study resource for flood managers, policy makers and students as well as for trainers as a resource.
