With a view to the vast challenges faced by countries in managing their floodplain resources, this event aims at presenting and discussing the newly established HelpDesk for Integrated Flood Management (IFM HelpDesk).

Floodplains are a key resource for socio-economic development and the environment. The IFM HelpDesk is a facility that provides guidance on flood management policy, strategy and institutional development to countries.
